The consortium is coordinated by Universitat de València in collaboration with LMT Group, it counts with the participation of EDI Providers with a significant expertise: Billit (Belgium), OpusCapita (Finland), Viaduct (Sweden), Calvi (The Netherlands), Generix (France) and NetEDI (UK).

The main objective of the Action is to promote the use of the eDelivery DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) amongst both private and public entities by integrating the AS4 protocol into six certified PEPPOL Access Points and their respective Service Metadata Publishers (SMP). This Action covers the transition from AS2 to AS4 profile in each Access Point of the Consortium members, as well as the upgrade and deployment of their respective SMP. As a result, a large number of European entities that are already using eDelivery services provided by the members of the AS4EDI consortium will have access to the cross-border exchange of electronic documents, according to the technical specification of the EU Core Service Platform, based on eDelivery AS4 Profile.
